April Trilogy

<aside> 💔 The Gentle Fight

In the silent watch of night, I stand, Gazing skyward, heart in hand. A tale of empathy, of silent cries, Beneath the ever-watchful skies.

I poured my soul to understand, To hold your pain, to lend a hand. Researching ways to ease your storm, A shelter tried, in heartfelt form.

Yet space I gave, the kindest deed, In hope that love would plant its seed. But echoes came, in silence, cold, The waiting game, a story old.

The ghosting pang, a familiar dread, A cycle of hope, and tears unshed. Until the day, the final word, A goodbye flown, a farewell heard.

Broken, I faced a truth so stark, Not about you, but wounds so dark. A trigger, you, for deeper pain, A journey through the inner rain.

To the terrace, under moon's soft glow, With cigarette's ember, feelings in tow. "I am in so much pain," to stars, I confide, "I don't know what to do," I cried.

A catharsis, in celestial view, A realization, painful, true. It's not just you, but a story untold, Of self, of healing, of breaking the mold.

This odyssey, through night to dawn, A phoenix's tale, of being reborn. Empathy, space, and tears that fell, A story of growth, of breaking the shell.

So here I stand, beneath the sky so vast, Learning, healing, from the shadow cast. A journey inward, to find my light, Emerging from the pain, into the night.

Now it's time, the kindness I freely gave, To turn inward, my own heart to save. Understanding, compassion, all I've shown, Must now be for me, as I've grown.

To be gentle with myself, to fight the good fight, In my own heart, to kindle the light. With self-love as my newfound might, I'll embrace the dawn, after the longest night

In the dawn of youth, beneath college skies, a connection sparked, unexpected surprise. Two souls entwined, then drifted apart, leaving whispered echoes in the heart.

From the ashes of one, to connections anew, a mirror of self, in another's view. Yet the timing was wrong, the pieces unfit, in the dance of love, we couldn't commit.

Then, a distant beacon, a familiar face, a ghosting presence, a long-distance chase. In his qualities, a desire to own, not just to be with, but to have grown.

And then one came, where it all felt right, we tried, we struggled, in our gentle fight. But as the stars faded into the dawn, I found my own strength as we moved on.

Now, in the quiet, I ponder your soul, my lifelong treasure, making me whole. What tales are you living, what paths do you roam? When will the universe bring you home?

In every heartbeat, an echo of your name, in every sunset, your absence a flame. Yet in this waiting, a purpose so clear, In myself, I find, the love you'll hold dear.

For each step taken, each goodbye said, prepares the ground where our love will tread. So, I craft my spirit, and forge my fate, For our destined meeting, I patiently wait.

But oh, the waiting, it chills to the bone, for a lifelong treasure, as yet unknown. Does the universe shape you, as it shapes me? In the grand tapestry, what will we be?

When our paths cross, in that fated hour, will we know it's us, with every power? How will we meet, under which starry sky? In the sea of faces, will we catch the eye?

Gone are the visages once thought to be true, now, in my dreams, the face is anew. A canvas blank, awaiting your grace, In the heart's gallery, you'll have your place.

So I stand on the threshold of destiny's door, awaiting the one I will adore. In the silence of waiting, a promise I see, to myself, to you, to what we will be.

<aside> ❤️‍🩹 Now, I Breathe

In the earliest chapters, under a script too tight, I learned to hold my breath, to curb the light That shimmered within, a secret held deep, For a world that whispered, "Do not leap."

Tasked with a role far beyond my years, I masked my truths behind quiet fears. "For the world to see me, for the world to let me be," I pleaded in silence, my spirit yearning to flee.

Each chapter, a layer of invisible chains, A smile concealing the heart's quiet pains. Words of rebellion whispered in the night, The only escape from the smothering plight.

Then, upon the terrace, under the cold, distant stars, I stood alone, bearing the weight of unseen scars. Tears spilled silently, a quiet confession of pain, For a life half-lived, for dreams restrained.

In that sacred night, I heard the stars reply, Echoing back my pain, the cosmos felt nigh. It was then I understood, the breath I held so dear, Was waiting for release, for me to draw near.

Breathing in the night, I exhaled the years of dread, The sky a tapestry of the tears I shed. With each breath out, a chain fell loose, Each gasp a step toward self-truce.

No longer just a player in a script so constrained, I embraced the stage of life, feelings untamed. With every exhale, I carve out my space, Finding solace in the universe’s patient embrace.

I cook, I write, I dance, I love— Each act a declaration, not yet seen by all above. Breathing in deeply, I savor the air, A promise to myself to live fully, to dare.

Realizing now, in the glow of newfound light, I am the main character, the lead, the sight. No longer a side actor in anyone's sun, But the center of my universe, the orbit begun.

Though the journey's not over, the path still unfolds, With new chapters to write, and many stories untold. Each breath a new scene, I no longer pretend, In the story of my life, where I'm the hero at the end.
